megawatt Posted March 7, 2013 Posted March 7, 2013 Good news! Ask em for a washer for swingarm and wheel spindle as well. I have em , but won't get to Hastings for a few days?Unless you wanna fit nut and then have a ride up to Northiam.? Quote
Moomintroll Posted March 7, 2013 Author Posted March 7, 2013 Ive ordered the nut, does it need a new spindle? They have one but its 20 quid. Forgot about the washer! What size does it need to be? Quote
megawatt Posted March 7, 2013 Posted March 7, 2013 .You don't need a new spindle. Washer is 12mm for swingarm. Dunno what size at back wheel spindle. I have some , but up here. Bike barn should know. You can ride bike without washers? Quote
Moomintroll Posted March 7, 2013 Author Posted March 7, 2013 Ok, I'll see what I can find out. If I cant get get it sorted, a trip to Northiam may be on the cards Quote
Moomintroll Posted March 9, 2013 Author Posted March 9, 2013 B*gger, Jailing nut has arrived and its too big, 14mm I think. I'll check out the other one! Get there in the end Quote
megawatt Posted March 9, 2013 Posted March 9, 2013 I'm sure one of those links was for an M12 nut for your bike? Bloody bike shops. Ask Hastings Motorcycle Centre if they have one? Take spindle with you, they are about 1/2 mile from you , Beaconsfield road I think. Quote
Moomintroll Posted March 11, 2013 Author Posted March 11, 2013 Haven't had chance to do this yet but hopefully I can pop down there on Wednesday What do you think of this to replace the brake master cylinder? Bit worried that I can't check the break fluid level at the moment..http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2010-Jialing- ... 2550153%26 Quote

megawatt Posted March 11, 2013 Posted March 11, 2013 I popped into HMC this morning and he gave me an M12 nut that might fit. I left it on the front bay window shelf next to your bike. Glad you got a cover to protect and hide the bike. That M/C should fit, but be better to buy one with a lever attached as some are different. You could risk it being the same ? Any small bike M/C should fit as long as it's 22mm or 7/8" and has the correct lever attached. Quote
Moomintroll Posted March 11, 2013 Author Posted March 11, 2013 Thank you so much I'll keep looking for the master cyclinder, Im sure something will pop up on ebay at some point. Quote
megawatt Posted March 11, 2013 Posted March 11, 2013 I keep forgetting to drop those spanners off though ?Did you look at clothing at Aldi? Quote
Moomintroll Posted March 11, 2013 Author Posted March 11, 2013 I think I'm alright for spanners, Ive got quite a few knocking around, just need to find em!! Had a look in Aldi, wasnt too keen on the boots, thought it would be better to pay a bit more when I can and get some that feel right.. Quite liked the trousers but they were very heavy.. i'm a bit fussy Quote
megawatt Posted March 13, 2013 Posted March 13, 2013 Is it all sorted now? Apart from master cylinder reservoir. Quote
Moomintroll Posted April 16, 2013 Author Posted April 16, 2013 Thanks for popping by to look at the bike Alan Quote
