how much does DSA A2 test cost?

im 19 years old and im looking to start riding a bike again. My CBT has ran out 15th may, and wondering how much is DSA A2 test cost. Also will that test allow me to ride any bike after 2 years? Thanks.

Sorry what do you mean? The cost is standard and is on the directgov website. You will also have to get another cbt.

You will need to redo your CBT (£100 ish) and do a theory test (£31) before you can sit your tests

Mod 1 is £15.50

Mod 2 is £75 on a weekday, £88.50 on weekends

To do A2 the bike you sit your tests on has to be at least 395cc which you're not allowed to ride on your own without an instructor in contact with you so if you're looking at doing it with a school you've got bike hire cost to factor in as well as how many lessons they think you need.

A1 is the 125 test you're allowed to sit at 17 but you're only allowed to ride a 125 after passing it. To do full licence it's 24 or 2 years after passing A2, whichever happens sooner

The A2 test is £55 (I think) and the theory is £31 but the course will be a lot more.

You can take your A2 and ride any bike up to 47bhp with an original power output of no more that 96bhp.

After two years with this license, you can take your full A test to be allowed to ride whatever you want.

done some research and i find it around about 600 pounds. But not sure how it goes from £75 to £600:(

as has been said if your only getting a 125 then dont bother with test just do your cbt!!
