May be abit of a made question but realised my spada tank has a few holes under the paint its hard if not impossible so we stumbled amonst something does anyone think a NTV650 will fit ? Might be a daft one worth a shot

I'd suggest aiming for the NTV400 or maybe a CB500 as both are smaller bikes!

Importantly look at the frames, I think the tank off the 400 could be a very close match. I suspect you will have to adapt it to fit but it looks like a better unit anyway so with a little bit of effort will be worth the trouble anyway :thumb:

We used to weld/braze them when I was in the trade....just took some patience is all...

Tried everywhere to get a tank of the NTV 4 couldent find one anywhere welding is out the question I recon but then again I can have a go

It's about making it safe first.... we used to flush them out then fill them with co for a good while...argon would do as its inert...then gring it back and have a good look...


Personally I would braze and then regrind flush then repaint..
