Dynamo_Delboy Posted August 14, 2013 Posted August 14, 2013 So, my clutch biting point seems to very high.Really only bites when the lever is pretty much fully released. Is this normal or is my cable needing adjusted.I just feel as if its a very high biting point. Quote
Guest Posted August 14, 2013 Posted August 14, 2013 on some times it can be very normal.Best try and adjust the clutch cable, aslong as there is no slipping on engagement.. Quote
Fozzie Posted August 15, 2013 Posted August 15, 2013 Is it fully engaged? If it isn't it will slip and also let off a burning stink in some cases.Mine was out, you can adjust it. Use the screw adjuster, make sure you have a little bit of free play! Quote
Dynamo_Delboy Posted August 15, 2013 Author Posted August 15, 2013 It seems to be fully engaged. No smelly burning clutch either thats why im thinking it might just need adjusted. Quote
Stu Posted August 15, 2013 Posted August 15, 2013 if you have around 5mm of play at the lever then the adjustment is fine if the lever is none adjustable ie it doesnt have a span adjuster then see if you can get one to fit Quote
