My helmet chain won't unhook on other side (Photos provided)

Hey all,

I was wondering if there was anyone that could help me with something thats been bugging me. I bought a Honda Lead about 6 months ago and when I originally purchased the bike it had a helmet chain attached at the bottom of my seat that came with a key. I now really want to take the chain off and replace it as it has rusted ALOT and looks awful but...I can't seem to take the other end off at all, the key is only for the first lock.

There is no sign of a keyhole or screw to let it loose the other side.

It seems to be all attached the a piece of metal that is wielded underneath the seat so I can't take the whole thing off.

In the photo you see me release the first lock with a key then turn to the other side where the problem area is in the blue circle, I can't seem to disconnect this at all.

Any ideas guys? Would REALLY appreciate any help!

wrap some black pvc tape around the rusty bits you don't like. Otherwise sorry I can't help you.

If you really want to get it off - then you will need to use a disk cutter/grinder and, once finished, primer, udercoat and topcoat with smooth hammerite!
