buggerit Posted September 8, 2013 Author Posted September 8, 2013 Well glad I went to a friend of a friends just to check as he found stuff I didnt. He found the ohms reading a little high against whst the manual says 0.3-0.5 instead of 0.1-0.2 also found a dodgy wire from the regulator I checked for continuity but not voltage. It should have been 12v and mine was 2! Just needed cleaning up. Voltage increases now to 14 so happy days again. He was laughing at me loosing my rag when all it needed was a Clean! I thought Id checked all the wiring but obviously ive still got a while to go learning electrics ha. Quote
Tango Posted September 8, 2013 Posted September 8, 2013 Er....yes.....first thing to check with electrical problems is the condition of any connectors and earthing points....and tightness of battery terminals...... Glad you got it sorted without too much more expenditure...... Quote
