A1 Bike? What does this mean?

Welcome to the Forum mate........pop over to the Newbies section and introduce yourself when you can...... 8-)


A1 bikes are basically 120-125cc with a max power output of 14.6bhp....... :wink:


Basically, if you took your test and you are between 17 - 19 years old you can only take it on a bike that fits the A1 category.....and if you pass the test you can still only ride the same category bike for a minimum of 2 years.....all passing the A1 test will do is to allow you to ride without L-plates, carry a pillion passenger and ride on Motorways...... :wink:
