Guest Posted September 17, 2013 Posted September 17, 2013 I've had a problem with my ped, I can full rev it and it won't go past 10-15 mile per hour, it gitterers and the exhaust sounds poppy, I've been told its my carb but put redex in my petrol tank which cleans carbs and nothing's changed?? So.....if I'm reading this correctly....the engine revs up ok.....but will only reach 10-15mph?........if that's the case I'd say it's something in the transmission. Is it a twist and go?......if so it could be the drive belt slipping..... Quote
