Honda CG125 engine fit a Kawasaki Eliminator BN125 bike?

Hiya, I'm new here and just wanted to ask if a Honda CG125 engine would fit a Kawasaki Eliminator motorcycle?

The reason I ask is because last week my Kawasaki Elminator BN125 motorcycle stopped running, or should I say the engine went on me whilst I was riding it, turns out I've damaged the engine, the piston have broke and the cylinder head has broken off, there's a hole in the engine and it will need re-boring, this is what I've been told by the mechanic at a garage among other problems.

So after being quoted around £600 for the repairs I thought it would be cheaper to get a new engine, I looked about and only found one on ebay, I phoned the guy up and he said the engines gone but the Kawasaki Eliminator engines are not reliable and said he knows some people that have put a Honda CG125 engine in the Kawasaki Eliminator.

So I looked on ebay and there's a few going, however I do not want to fork out the cash only to find that it's not going to work, this is why I'm here in hope that someone can confirm that the Honda CG125 engine will fit my Kawasaki Eliminator motorcycle, or how I can find out.

I'd really appreciate help with this as I love my motorcycle and rely on it a lot, I want it back on the road asap, so again any help or advice would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

never seen or heard of it being done but anything is possible chances are you will need most of the cg electrics and cab and such likeand be able to make up new brackets and weld bits in and cut bits out

Also depends on which side the chain is on....... Personally I'd say it's more trouble than it's worth mate.......
