Question about lacquer

I have nearly finished painting my plastic fairings with satin matt acrylic paint. Should I put a coat of lacquer on last? I do not want the finish to go shiny.

the lauqer will not make it go shiney unless u highly polish it as its designed to protect the paint underneath it and normally its that paint thats polished up then the laquer applied but do a small test area that cant be seen just in case

Lacquer, much like other paint, comes in gloss and matt. Just use a matt lacquer and you should be fine. A gloss lacquer will make matt paint shine.
