littlecat
Well we've been over today and started sorting it.Managed to free up the hydro lock, only one cylinder was affected. The tap is definitely bolloxed, so we've brought it home to strip down .All in all removed over 10 litres of fluids from the engine. OhJay
Thank you Stu, your suggestion of a nut on the end of the crank shaft was a saviour. Able to turn the crank with no sticking at allTook the cover off at the end of the crank and fuel poured out the hole from the sump!
Stu
yeah the fuel will have gone into the cylinder and past the rings into the sump if you can I would put just a couple of drops of oil into the cylinder just to lube it up as you turn it over as the fuel will have washed all the oil away
eastanglianbiker
definatly a few drips of oil into each chamber before trying to start it as bores will of been washed clean of oil and will wreck bore/rings if you dont use oil first
