Honda CBF 125cc lighting failure

I have a honda cbf 125cc 2009 plate

 

• Starts up fine, no problems, ticks over however, no front lights, dashboard lights or rear lights come on
  
  Indicators still work.
  
  
  
  When I turn ignition on, the neutral light comes up, and the error light turn on, then off (Thank god!)
  
  
  
  but then no lights at all, if I press the back brake no brake light comes up, but if i pull the front brake, the brake light comes on.
  
  
  
  I have also replaced the fuse.

Welcome to TMBF mate....pop over to the Newbies section and introduce yourself to the gang when you can......

Front light - have you replaced the bulb?

Brake light - if it comes on with the front brake lever but not with the back brake pedal I would think it's likely to be the rear brake switch or the wiring associated with that......but most likely the switch.

Not replaced any bulbs, it hasn't been started for about 2 weeks (prior to that all lights worked) and then I went to work and had to ride home in the dark as I didn't notice on the way there.

Hi first check the battery then check your lights. A flat battery will cause all sorts of problems with the charging system and output voltage.
