Mr G Posted January 19, 2014 Posted January 19, 2014 God this is driving me mad I have an Kawasaki ER6-f (2009), and decided to buy some paddock stand bobbins !! these in fact http://www.sportsbikeshop.co.uk/moto...ent_prod/62969Thought this would be pretty straight forward, I bought after being advised they were the correct ones for the bike.... well attempted to stick them on, but they only went on half way tried to tighten them like a numpty but to no avail !! (hope I aint done any damage) decided to look on the internet only to discover that there is 1.25 thread and 1.50 threads, as I took it they told me it was for a er6-f (10mm) I assumed they would fit...can anyone shed light on what size they are and can anyone direct me to a site that sell any decent sets that will fit my bike Quote
megawatt Posted January 19, 2014 Posted January 19, 2014 That link doesn't work for me. Do you have pix of thread. Can you measure diameter of bolt or thread? If it's M10, bit big for bobbins, it is normally a metric fine 1.25 pitch as used on Jap bikes. Most M10 threads are 1.5 pitch. I doubt it is M10 for bobbins though, usually M8 or M6. Quote
