Tango Posted March 24, 2014 Posted March 24, 2014 Some places do the "Get on" scheme to let people have a short session on a bike to see if they'll like it....so it may be worth having a look to see if anyone does that near you..... Quote
Tango Posted March 24, 2014 Posted March 24, 2014 Here you are.....check this out.... http://www.geton.co.uk/free-ride.html Quote
fq-craigus Posted March 24, 2014 Posted March 24, 2014 Just do a cbt they will teach you what you need to know Quote
eastanglianbiker Posted March 25, 2014 Posted March 25, 2014 if you have never touched a bike before then the geton scheme is a very good idea as it gives you an insite on what a bike is and what lever is where and as its free its worth sorting out then going for cbt afterwards Quote
Guest Posted April 2, 2014 Posted April 2, 2014 On saturday I am at my local bike school who for 35 quid are doing a one hour session on a 125cc to break me in before paying for a CBT. Very excited! Quote

Guest Posted April 5, 2014 Posted April 5, 2014 Thats cheap enough! Still, just back from my first ever hour on a bike and enjoyed it. Areas to master was slow control and shifting up but wilk do an hour next week then do cbt. What a buzz! I have a bmw gs in my sights! Quote

Guest Posted April 6, 2014 Posted April 6, 2014 I am 38 and just did my CBT the other week. I had the same doubts as you about never being on a bike before but I shouldn't have worried. The CBT is a great laugh, just enjoy the experience. Good luckNiten Quote
