Some places do the "Get on" scheme to let people have a short session on a bike to see if they'll like it....so it may be worth having a look to see if anyone does that near you..... 8-)

if you have never touched a bike before then the geton scheme is a very good idea as it gives you an insite on what a bike is and what lever is where and as its free its worth sorting out then going for cbt afterwards

On saturday I am at my local bike school who for 35 quid are doing a one hour session on a 125cc to break me in before paying for a CBT. Very excited!

Thats cheap enough! Still, just back from my first ever hour on a bike and enjoyed it. Areas to master was slow control and shifting up but wilk do an hour next week then do cbt. What a buzz! I have a bmw gs in my sights!

I am 38 and just did my CBT the other week. I had the same doubts as you about never being on a bike before but I shouldn't have worried. The CBT is a great laugh, just enjoy the experience.

Good luck
