Rod York Posted April 17, 2014 Author Posted April 17, 2014 I really enjoyed the whole series of vids, watched them last night and watched others on your channel, good to see the whole family on the bikes too.Would I be up to a challenge like that? Well who knows? Well I have a few family commitments ( eldest is in GCSE yr)- but I have a cunning plan or two brewing. If you would like to come along- do drop me a line- I enjoy meeting new people (as long as you are not totally crackers!)- I don't have dates yet or a firm destination...but it will be videoed & it should be entertaining...but not as alternative as 3 eyes 2 bikes & 1 passport!( that was beyond my expectations- I can tell you!)Hope you get in touch & thanks for watchingRod Quote
Rod York Posted April 17, 2014 Author Posted April 17, 2014 Great story! I still haven't watched the 3 last parts of it (I'm saving it for a quiet moment with a )!!So, just for the sake of it...would you rather have done this trip on your own?? savour the moment!... Quote
Rod York Posted April 17, 2014 Author Posted April 17, 2014 Just sat and watched them all so far. Subbed and can't wait for the next one! Sorry- I have just realised I have not answered or even thanked you!I hope you enjoyed them & enjoyed the sting in the tail!Regardsrod Quote
Rod York Posted April 17, 2014 Author Posted April 17, 2014 Great story! I still haven't watched the 3 last parts of it (I'm saving it for a quiet moment with a )!!So, just for the sake of it...would you rather have done this trip on your own?? ...Definitely not. there are some people who can comfortably travel on their own & I take my hats off to them. Me (believe it or not )- I like to talk! & at the end of the day- I enjoy talking through the days events & plans for the following day.I enjoy learning new things (welding being an example) & If people achieve something further...then I enjoy it even more.(my jobs have always been in that line of work)Would you consider travelling alone or would you prefer a small/large group- if time/£ were no object...and to where?!rod Quote
Rod York Posted April 17, 2014 Author Posted April 17, 2014 Whos up for the next challenge? What have you got in mind? Any plans as to where, when, how long yet?Just curious. Not signing up just yet Lucifah- that to me sounds like an "I'm in" type of post- Sniper is dead...long live Lucifah! I have a couple of ideas, but as I mentioned before- a few family commitments...Nothing too heavy though!Drop me a PM if you are considering a trip- It would be nice to chat.Regardsrod Quote

If the circumstances are good, I enjoy riding with some specific friends of mine. On the other hand I like having my other half as a pillion. Pff, one can't have it all anyway...Where to, you asked??Anywhere I'd say...That's the easy part. For start I'd like to see the northern lights. Quote

Rod York Posted April 18, 2014 Author Posted April 18, 2014 Enjoyed watching all episodes where are you off to next ?Given your job title...I think you may have the tenses wrong in your reply....it should read not where are [strikeout]you[/strikeout] off, but instead ...we!Are you up for it? try to subscribe http://www.youtube.com/user/shiralee007I need to get my Sh1t together, but there's a short vid planned out soon...you might be interested. Not signing up just yet Lucifah- that to me sounds like an "I'm in" type of post- Sniper is dead...long live Lucifah! Well, I've got say I'd love to do such a tour some time, because there's lots to learn while having loads of fun along the way! That said, I also have a couple of commitments, which will make it difficult this year. I'd hate to sign up too early just to bail out last minute. If you could drop a few clues, that would help. As somebody else said: The "where" is not very important. But for me the "when" and "how long" is, if that makes sense. You sound quite ambitious, and the next challenge won't be the last challenge by the sound of it. Any plans for spring next year? Quote
