fq-craigus Posted April 20, 2014 Posted April 20, 2014 Me and the gf took a ride over to skegness yesterday had a great day. When leaving we were sitting in the traffic up the high street as too narrow and busy to filter especially with pillion. And a 125 sports bike filtered in to the gap where I was and satin front stop start, he was wearing full leathers (some old school redbull ones) and on his feet........ PUMPS wtf really, nice bike, good gear and pumps, might as well be wearing sandals. If said youngster is on here, wear appropriate footwear especially if you have spent the time to wear leathers, they will look better too as the pumps and leathers looked odd to saythe least. Quote
Marmalade43 Posted April 20, 2014 Posted April 20, 2014 Decent shoes work be be better, his feet would sweat less. Quote
fq-craigus Posted April 20, 2014 Author Posted April 20, 2014 Decent shoes I agree, these were like plimpsoles with laces, didn't even cover the ankle. It just left me bewildered that he is in full leathers but useless footwear. When I'm only popping to town on a nice day th I'll wear trainers and a hoodie with jeans but I wouldn't wear all my gear and just a pair of pig trotters, my hands and feet mean too much to me for that Quote
DreamytimeEscorts Posted April 23, 2014 Posted April 23, 2014 Perhaps he'd gone to buy the leathers and wore them on his way home. Quote
Guest Posted June 5, 2014 Posted June 5, 2014 Alpinestars, Rev'it and RST all do trainers that you can use for riding Think most of them are CE approved for ridingMaybe he was wearing somehing like that as seems odd to have all propoer gear then just chuck a pair of trainers on..... Quote
stumblebum Posted June 5, 2014 Posted June 5, 2014 I use these for my footwear on the bike.http://www.motolegends.com/boots/tcx/tc ... black.htmlThey are more than adequate for most riding situations. Quote
DreamytimeEscorts Posted June 6, 2014 Posted June 6, 2014 I like those. I'd be more likely to wear them as everyday footwear and wear them on the bike too. Quote
