I took the bike out today with the cam on to test the sound aspect and was ... well, lets say it proved to be worse than useless. Oh, not the sound. that wasn't too bad actually. What was worse than useless was the damned picture. It was raining and a spot of rain sat on the lens and I couldn't see anything for most of the journey.

Is there a way round this or use it only when dry?

Also, I was told to use rain X to keep the rain off my visor. Is it safe to use on plastic? I thought not.
