I'm a car cleaning enthusiast, now I have a bike I'm unsure on the correct way of cleaning. Any open threads or advice on bike cleaning?

Thanks

I use Autoglym shampoo conditioner on the bike first....then rinse....then Autoglym Super Resin polish for the bodywork.....and Autosol for the chrome/shiny metalwork.....and a wipe of ACF50 over the frame/swingarm/suspension linkages/fork legs/wheels etc......and a squirt of Back to Black on the matt plastic tail unit..... 8-)

Also check out this thread: viewtopic.php?f=3&t=45359&hilit=cleaning&start=15

And a pic of my Speedie.....not bad for a 9 year old bike..... 8-)

I use snow foam on my car, think I could use it on the bike? Or will it strip oil from the chain?

if you are cleaning the bike up in general and getting water and moisture everywhere you should do jobs like check and lube chain after as a matter of course so using snow foam wont make a lot of difference as long as you clean and lube chain as normall afterwards
