Hello guy's as some people know i've had problem's with the bike, and broken it down to the exhaust having a "leak" now as it's my work horse i need to fix it before something bad happend's i get paid in 2 week's time so looking around i can't seem to find stock exhausts, i honestly don't care how it look's or sounds as it's on a 125, garages checked the bike and said the exhaust will cost £150! and that's for a stock one! i can't seem to find a stock honda cbr 125 2005 r5 exhaust, but i've found a few like this

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/HONDA-CBR-125 ... 3f35b5bbd1

As i don't know much about exhausts, this is the full kit correct? yes it's aftermarket and looks stupid on a 125 (i agree) but if it's cheaper than a stock one it's worth me getting right?

Need some advise either way exhaust buying related.

Looking at the description - The seller (based in Thailand) states that you (the buyer) will need to pay all import duty and tax on receipt of this kit - add that to the price and P&P charge and you are looking at circa £150 total.

It is unlikely that the whole exhaust is 'gone' - which part is 'blowing'?

You may be able to get the part(s) you need from a breakers.

Exhaust seem's to be blowing where it connect's to the engine, so will need to downpipe i think?

Will keep "window" shopping until i get paid, really need my baby for the new job!

Edit: local breakers have none just phoned them, one says hes partner who deals with exhaust is back in the afternoon.

Could it be just the exhaust gasket?

I honestly have no idea personally, the exhaust downpipe is completely corroding though and full of rust.

Are you sure its not just the exhaust gasket that's blowing? Check the clamp is tight, if it is l would remove the exhaust and check the condition of the gasket if it's gone you will see a black burn mark where the gases have been escaping. If it the pipe that's blowing a good welder should be able to sort it and save yourself a small fortune.

Asmuch as i would like to, i honestly don't have the tools for that or the knowledge, although i did ask about welding it and al said that doesnt seem to be a good idea with the state it's in, is anyone local to brighouse/hudds/halifax? <3

Don't be spending any money on a replacement exhaust until you have got it checked over first, a replacement gasket is pence and a very easy fix.

found out my uncles friend mot's and repiars bikes, but only accepts big bikes, and is extremely strict (some-how he manages to attract a shit ton of customers) he checked it, says it's fine, nothing to worry about, just happend's with that kind of mileage, but he spotted some big issues that i need to address, so to another garage as he's plate is full, sigh been a confusing day!

would check but haven't got the tools at the moment or the ballz incase i f**k up!

Get yourself a manual and a few basic tools. The manual, Youtube the Guy's on this forum should get you through the basic's checks and repairs, from there you'll build confidence to tackle the other jobs. It's the only way Mate, unless you've got a bottomless pocket.

will have to do it in a couple of week, no brass for tools yet, but as it's not a massive problem or a problem at all, i will have a go with it one day! :)
