Ok guys and gals need some advice. So last weekend noticed my chain was loose and I was low on oil so tensioned the chain and topped up the oil. Now it's hard to change gears an near impossible to hit neutral when the engine is running. When I hit the kill switch easy to change , any ideas heard it can be a few issues. Cheers scott

Check your clutch cable adjustment as the clutch may be dragging slightly.....and also make sure your chain isn't too tight now..... 8-)

+ 1 on the chain tension as the gear change was OK before and is now causing problems.

From experience, just a small adjustment to my chain makes a big difference to the tension as does on/off the centre stand and with my lardy @rse on board.

Get someone to check the tension with you sat on the bike

Definitely tension the chain with you on the bike, if it feels about right without you on the bike then it's probably too tight. When you sit on the bike the rear wheel shifts backwards therefore putting more strain on the chain. Also you're better off changing the oil rather than topping it up.
