Rik398 Posted June 1, 2014 Posted June 1, 2014 Ok folks, so did the oil and filter and got all the levels correct and everything (done it on this bike a few times) Went to look at the sight glass, and its slightly brown. Like peanut brown. Also, after turning the engine on and letting it warm up and turning it off again, some of the oil stayed stuck to the sight glass for longer then I would have liked. Eventually went down as normal. Also some small bubbles. First time I have used halfords own brand oil, so hoping that is the issue. No engine performance issues, or any over heating that I can tell (dont think bandit has a warning for engine temp but does not seem abnormally hot) Thoughts? Quote
Rik398 Posted June 1, 2014 Author Posted June 1, 2014 Should probably add, its about 600 miles since I changed the oil. Quote
Rik398 Posted June 1, 2014 Author Posted June 1, 2014 Yeah think it is fine. Took it for a bit of a spirited run and put it level at a petrol station, and all was well by the time I had put the fuel in. Must have been because it was on a short time and maybe not properly warm. Quote
