whats the best textile waterproof for the best price atm?

my akiko ones are shiteeee

The best waterproofs I have ever had were my Belstaff waxed cotton jacket and trousers that I had years ago......and my current Rukka jacket is pretty good.....although I do avoid going out in the rain now if I possibly can....

But....to answer your question.....good waterproofs are the Holy Grail.....but what I would try if I were you is one of those lightweight Regatta packaway jackets and trousers and wear them under your current gear when it's really hosing it down.....they're not too bulky and are reasonably waterproof......worth a try....

I just wear a fairly cheap textile jacket that keeps the average rain off. but for when it gets heavy i carry a set of waterproofs (just thin plastic crap) that fold up really small in my bag. chuck them over the top and im dry as a bone.
