littlecat Posted July 24, 2014 Posted July 24, 2014 2 wheels and an engine are a good start... a large pair of cojones comes in handy later on Quote
OhJay Posted July 24, 2014 Posted July 24, 2014 ACU is Auto-Cycle Union, the central organiser for all things bike racing in this countryhttp://www.acu.org.uk/If you want to race you need to do a licence test with them, organised through tracks and track day companies. £140 ish if you start with a licence, I think it's in the £200 region if you haven't got a bike licence for the extra assessments needed. If you don't have a road licence (and check, some companies specify unrestricted licence) then you need an ACU licence to show you're safe on track. Some places will let you hire bikes but they're usually daft silly money.
