AndyPF04 Posted August 5, 2014 Posted August 5, 2014 Hey everyone,I'm trying to sort myself out with some small/med sized panniers for my bike (need to do it quite urgently as going on TMBF rally next week So I went to the dealer, who promptly told me all about the solid ones they could fit for a fortune, which i declined, and was offered the oxford soft 60 ltr panniers.I asked him to show me how they would fit on the bike before I would buy them, and hey ho they won't fit safely as they droop onto the back wheel. So I do some looking around and it turns out that I need to buy these from Yamahahttp://www.yamaha-motor.eu/uk/products/ ... &year=2014At £81.49 PLUS p&p.So I left the shop without panniers.I know this might sound tight as f#%* but after spending nearly 7 grand on a motorbike at a shop, I think its damn cheeky of them to ask for 80 odd quid for two short metal rods that bolt to the frame so I can use panniers, on a bike that they class as a sports tourer, fat lot of use it is for touring as standard that's for sure.Anyway, I'm ranting. Does anyone have any advice on what panniers I might be able to get that will just go straight on this bike, or do I have to suck it up and pay them for their glorified cut offs? Thanks Quote
