Nublust Posted August 14, 2014 Posted August 14, 2014 Sods law, need to be up and out by 7am tomorrow to do a 230 mile trip and I've just found my rear brake light is stuck on. Any typical problems I can try and fix myself tonight so I can get off on time tomorrow? Quote
RantMachine Posted August 14, 2014 Posted August 14, 2014 When this happened to my bike, it was because the little bracket underneath the bars had moved slightly - the one that holds a little button which controls the brake light. Bit of brute force sorted it Has yours got anything like that? Quote
Nublust Posted August 14, 2014 Author Posted August 14, 2014 No but you gave me an idea and managed to fix it. The rear brake switch needed to be screwed in a bit more to give the attached spring some slack and release the piston(?) inside the switch. Either way, it's fixed and I'm not panicking any more .
