Brake light always on

Sods law, need to be up and out by 7am tomorrow to do a 230 mile trip and I've just found my rear brake light is stuck on. Any typical problems I can try and fix myself tonight so I can get off on time tomorrow?

When this happened to my bike, it was because the little bracket underneath the bars had moved slightly - the one that holds a little button which controls the brake light. Bit of brute force sorted it :D Has yours got anything like that?

No but you gave me an idea and managed to fix it. The rear brake switch needed to be screwed in a bit more to give the attached spring some slack and release the piston(?) inside the switch. Either way, it's fixed and I'm not panicking any more . Cheers :thumb:
