Booking Mod 1 & 2 before turning 24

Iv been on my 125 for a couple of months now and feel confident enough to book my modules, all I'm wondering is do I need to have lessons with an instructor as a requirement before doing the test and I'm 23 so I will only be allowed a A2 licence but turn 24 in April shall I just wait till then or can I do the modules now and my licence change when I turn 24 or will I have to pass another test????

Iv tried searching websites for the advice but it's not giving me any answers

You'll need to be 24 to take the full A license.....and, TBH, if it were me I'd wait till then....otherwise you'd have to do the A2 test and then the full A test....so, extra expense for the sake of 6 months wait....
