Some will cringe at the mess of some bikes but lets see what a day or two after a clean the roads have done to your bikes heres mine, cleaned friday night not the best pics but you get the point Quote

Guest Posted November 12, 2014 Posted November 12, 2014 I don't mind - it's an easy clean, just take it to the local Texaco jet wash and for £2.50 and 10mins of my time, I have a nice clean bike I washed it by hand once. Never again. Quote

fq-craigus Posted November 12, 2014 Author Posted November 12, 2014 I blast the crap off from a distance with a jetwash but get up close and personal to clean it as the muck gets in everywhere and i use parrafin in the bucket which does a top job Quote
Glorian Posted November 25, 2014 Posted November 25, 2014 I clean mine every 2 weeks. Wheel bike out onto the center stand. de-crap the chain and re-lube it. tighten the chain if needed. check fluid levels. Spray with water. Spray over some muc-off. come back 5 mins and spray with water. Then dry with microfibre cloth. Put chrome polish (on the chrome duh) leave it about 10-15minutes and wipe it off. THen a little ACF-50 on the engine and some other metal parts. Good to go!Whole process takes maybe an hour? I don't mind to much i like to know my bike looks nice and is in a good condition ^^I'm sure that will change soon =D Quote
fq-craigus Posted November 25, 2014 Author Posted November 25, 2014 The last couple of washes i have used the scottoiler equilivrnt to acf50 and its great, i put it all over the bike and come cleaning time the mid and crap just comes off easy as anything Quote

Guest Posted December 4, 2014 Posted December 4, 2014 They have these wonderful things called mudguards nowadays mate. Maybe you should fit some Such as the one installed on the bike as shown above?!The reason why there's so much mud on the back is because I took away the huge ugly number plate in exchange for a tidy but illegal tiny one Quote
