GazzyG Posted February 3, 2015 Posted February 3, 2015 Good assistance exercises those. Also, Fozzie - 80kg at 6'2"? Man alive! I was very thin at 70kg@5'6" before I started. Now I'm 90 at 5'6" and aiming for 95 before the end of the year. Haha! I can squat clear over 100kg but it's my most hated exercise as I don't like loading my back. You'll need to start building up that squat and deadlift if you want to start packing on mass. It will be difficult, because you've got long levers, but if you can get your squat up to three plates (140kg) and your deadlift up to four (180kg) then at your height you'll start looking pretty beastly. kitty Posted February 3, 2015 Posted February 3, 2015 Also would agree with low weight, 12-15 reps, and several sets. You could also think about 10-15 minute session on an exercise bike, good for building knee strength/stability, particularly the sit down ones, where you have legs out in frontSwimming can also be a gentle way to build up muscle without too much stress on the legs Quote

Anything I can do to avoid squats? The deadlift I don't mind as I did 120kg quite happily. The long arms irritate me as my forearms are hard to get big! Quote
