My ultimate addons modification

Today I attempted to install the kit for my iPhone. Firstly connected the electrics and routed the wires along the frame and under the tank. Next stage was to fit the mount. As soon as I opened the pack I knew I had issues, doing the mock fit proved it

As you can see the ball hits the bar. I didnt even consider this when I ordered the kit as there are various types of mounts.

Anyway, I had to resolve the issue and I had a rummage in my bits box and found a spacer that would allow the mount to be raised enough to work.

Opened it up a couple of mm to take the 8mm bolt

This gives me just enough clearance to attach the quick release mount

I have someone but it clamps over bar. Didn't like it as every time i had to take my eyes completely of the road to have a look at it.
