sutty86 Posted February 9, 2015 Posted February 9, 2015 Picked up bike today everything working as it should I hope apart from neutral green light on dash...The bike goes into neutral OK its very sensitive and sometime the neutral is intermittent I.e I have seen it on and it stays on until you take it out again and try putting it back in neural it will not come onPresume its faulty electrics like a earth or a wire...Can anyone please helpThanks Quote
Tango Posted February 9, 2015 Posted February 9, 2015 Most likely either the neutral switch (which is quite often around the front sprocket area) or the bulb....... Quote
igingeee Posted February 9, 2015 Posted February 9, 2015 Don't forget to factor in the damage that is on the rear of the clocks, exposed wiring not sure if that has anything to do with it.. check the mentioned suggestions however I'd get the rear cover replaced for piece of mind as soon as possible, as long as all the other features on the panel and both clocks work then the whole thing shouldn't need replacing.. sounds to me like a loose wire.I had something similar with my gear position indicator (different bike) and was flickering, sorted itself out.. As long as you can ride it fine without any problems inbetween gears then it should be ok until you find the cause of the fault, you'll know when you let the clutch out and it stalls anyhow.Hopefully a simple fix. sutty86 Posted February 9, 2015 Author Posted February 9, 2015 Yes I've just bought the back off a seller on eBay just need to await...Yes forgot to mention that also there is an exposed socket underneath which I need to sort as I don't think it should be that exposed...Need some gaffa tape ATM to keep all sealedApart from that bike Is okay need to rip chrome exhaust fixture off as it's rattling...I think it's just cosmetic anyways Quote
