WonderAve Posted March 6, 2015 Posted March 6, 2015 Hi all:) I have a CBR125R (2006) and its just developed a fault. I went to the shops (0.3m) and withdrew some money. By the time I got back on the bike, the speedo cable had stopped working. I've planned a ride for tomorrow morning and ideally need it fixed by then. Funnily enough we're meeting at a motorcycle garage. Should I just get them to take a look or wait and replace it myself? I know its cheaper to replace it myself but I really would like the confidence of knowing how fast I'm going on roads i've never been on before at 50mph:/ Quote
fq-craigus Posted March 7, 2015 Posted March 7, 2015 I would replace myself but thats just me, take the cable off the wheel end and give it a tug it will more than likely just pull out because its snapped inside the sheath Quote
