Hey guys,

Been reading the forum for a while and thought id finally post!

I'm planning on taking a DAS course after summer. I know in an ideal world passing my CBT then gettign a bike and riding a while before taking MOD1 and MOD2 would be the best idea but i have a few concerns about this.

I'm a big lad about 27 stone and I'm worried a 125 just isn't powerful enough to get me about. I live on the south coast with lots of cliffs and hills. So I'm thinking a DAS course might be the way to go. Any advice or pointers would be greatly appreciated!

If anyone could recommend a bike course in east or west Sussex that would also be amazing!

When I got back into it I went straight to the DAS.

To be honest I'm probably 16 stone and 125's in my opinion weren't for me.

I think it also depends what experience you have n how confident you feel.

I'd had little bikes as a kid and also pratted around with scooters (proper kind) so I wasn't phased.

If you have the finances to go through the DAS and then onto a big bike that's the way I would recommend although I'm sure there are plenty who will say get a 125 for the experience.
