cockercas Posted May 16, 2015 Posted May 16, 2015 Fork seals, first I undo the nut at the bottom of the fork then undo the top? Correct?I've done them before but this bikes driving me insane, nothing's simple. Showa forks on a 749sI can't get the damper out so I can't separate the stanchions. Quote
megawatt Posted May 16, 2015 Posted May 16, 2015 If you can't undo the damper bolt at the bottom with the top nut still in and pre load on max, you will have to remove top nut, and spring etc to access the top of damper and use a special tool or homemade tool to stop damper turning. I use a piece of wood. Quote
