Is anyone from the forum looking at going to Margate on the 25th ?

Seems the weather might be good this year.

Hoping it will be as good as Hastings was last year.

Well... it was as soon as the idiot parade started. won't be doing any more of these huge meets for that reason, unfortunately...

This year or last year ? I didnt go this year but enjoyed looking at all the bikes the year before.

Sadly these event do seem to attract the idiots.

At the Southend shakedown this year there were loads of idiots on sportsbikes wearing t-shirts with motocross body armour posing about redlining and doing burnouts at any opportunity.

Also saw a load of smashed up bikes and a few smashed up cars that the bikes had hit.

Sad to say, that a select few make events like the Southend shakedown an embarrassment to the biking community.

Oh dear. Didn't see any of that last year but i was down there quite some time. Maybe i missed the twats.

If i do go and it's shit i guess i can do a coastal run down to Folkestone and across to Rye to get away from it all.
