Scorpion Posted June 11, 2015 Posted June 11, 2015 Hi guys. I have had this bike a couple of years and it was running quite rough, Ive given it a service and carbs cleaned and balanced. I am really rubbish with mechanics and all the other stuff so apols for stupid questions. In traffic and low revs, the bike is really juddery like is on kangaroo fuel, if i release the throttle it really judders. Any other ideas other than carbs that I could try?And if possible, how I look at them? Thanks in advance Quote
oldie59 Posted June 11, 2015 Posted June 11, 2015 Have you tried replacing the plugs and air filter? Doing this might help Quote
fq-craigus Posted June 11, 2015 Posted June 11, 2015 Chain tension, lube and cond? Otherwise plugs and air filter Quote
eastanglianbiker Posted June 12, 2015 Posted June 12, 2015 first thing i would do is spray some wd40 or carb cleaner round the carb intakes to make sure they are not drawing air in due to being perished then go with checking chain condition and its also worth checking the cush drive rubbers in the rear wheel by checking how much free movement the wheel has before the sprocket carrier starts to turn you will need the bike up on a paddock stand to check it properly Quote
Tango Posted June 12, 2015 Posted June 12, 2015 Could be a coil/ignitor stick on its way out......this often manifests itself at lower revs...... Quote
