Can any of you good people recommend a decent pair of mens textile trousers that give good protection and are cool (as in temp not chic).I have a pair with removal liners from J&S but they're still too hot.

thanks

I've got some Buffalo Coolflow...I can't compare them to any others (as they're the only summer trousers I own!)...but I'm happy with them. My only gripe with them are the massive knee pads!

I use Spada airflow trousers and jacket. Both have a removable liner and the jacket comes with a waterproof outer shell that folds up and fits in a zipped section on the lower back of the jacket. Both work well on the hottest of days.

Just an update to my previous post. My trousers are Spada AIRSTREAM not airflow ad I incorrectly stated in that post and yesterday I saw the EXACT same trousers in JS motorcycle accessories being marketed as Hein Gericke airstream. They are exactly the same. They were priced at £109.99 which I think is what I paid for mine however.... If you search online for Hein Gericke Airstream you will come across a German site that have them on sale for €49.99. Yes, 49.99 EUROS. Might be worth checking them out.
