Guest Posted July 19, 2015 Posted July 19, 2015 Hi guys, new on here just been attempting my first restoration on some Chinese Keeway Superlight, not a massive project as its only a 2007 bike to begin with didn't want to start out with a huge project so for now this will do. Basically started with having my first scooter which got stolen and smashed up so I was looking for a quick cheap 125 that maybe needed some work to make a project out of and I ended up with this Keeway for £275 which was reasonably cheap for what it is. Having some trouble finding parts for it through ebay at the minute so im replacing with various things I find that fit right. Bike came for the most part mechanically sound but was looking a bit tatty as had original owner do a poor respray and then the guy I bought it off used house hold sandpaper and some god awfull primer which I spent a fair bit of time sanding down properly by hand. Had the bike almost two days now and results so far are looking a lot better still got plenty to sort out on it but its looking great so far just kind of looking for some ideas on what a bike a this type would suit. Original with a bit of a clean of what I couldhttp://imgur.com/a/DA3wmAfter respray of tank, front and rear guards and a cleaning up.http://imgur.com/a/OUa5EStill do have tank covers to go on and others still drying that needs going on of course but for now its a start.
