1964 T120 Bonneville

1964 Triumph T120R Gearbox reassembly problem. Stripped gearbox checked all seemed ok. After reassembly without inner cover on pushing gear change camplate from index position into second gear neutral and first no problem, back to index position pushed cam to third gear selector forks and gears move but gear not engaged same for top. have checked and double checked assembly but all looks ok.

Any help gratefuly received
