Your link is to a CBR400R, that's a Japan-only model that came out a couple of years ago so it makes sense that it isn't on the DVLA site. The "baby blade" is the CBR400RR, and that churns out 55bhp, and is therefore not A2 legal without restriction. And as mentioned above, you'd have one hell of a time doing the U turn and figure 8 on one of those :lol:

Anyone know if I can take the A2 restricted bike test on a Honda 400 baby blade?


It is not in the list of bikes on the DVLA web site.

And VOSA have this to say...

 

For other motorcycles not on this list, or where your motorcycle has been restricted to comply with the rules, you can use it but you must give certified proof of compliance or restriction. This must be a certificate or on headed paper from an official source (eg a main dealer, official importer or recognised specialist in restricting vehicles). Dyno certificates alone are not allowed.

 

So yes, you can use it, but not without jumping through many hoops first.
