AGV Helmet with Sunvisor

I've got an AGV helmet with internal sun visor.

Thing is I find the sun visor a bit useless, for two reasons. 1 it never really comes down as low as I'd like and secondly, there is like a cut-out for your nose.

But as the visor sits fairly high up, I basically have what feels like a huge gap right in the middle of my field of vision.

Is it possible to replace the sun visor on these helmets or at least fiddle with the mechanics so as to get the visor to come down lower?

you might be wearing your helmet wrong, check the mechanism works fully, maybe adjust the position of the helmet so the visor works properly

The intention of them is to cover the higher part of your vision - that where the sun will be.

The lower part of your vision should be below the visor so you can see your instruments without looking through it.

Many instrument panels now have LCD displays in them, they can be difficult to see through tinted visors.

Also they tend to mist up if the are too close fitting.

Tip: When you clea your main visor, clean the tinted visor as well, flipped mine down one day only to find I could see through it because of the dust on it.

The main issue I have is the cut out for your nose is very high up. I dont feel that the visor comes down properly.

I have to use my fingers to coax it down lower. It would be better if it didn't have the cutout for your nose.

As noses go mine is very big lol and even mind doesn't need the cutout in it.

I've seen you can buy replacement visors online but I cant find a video on how to replace it.
