_MILLA Posted February 23, 2016 Posted February 23, 2016 Really want bigger bars on my bike, I have a 125 shadow that's been bob'ed...I'm a new rider and don't really know a great deal..I've decided I want to put ape hangers on, just wondering how I go about it, I assume you need to some how extend the cables ?!Any help or links to what I need would be great! Tango Posted February 23, 2016 Posted February 23, 2016 Yeah, you'll need new cables, brake hose and wiring for the handlebar switches.......These guys can make cables and hoses to spec for you...http://www.venhill.co.uk/ ........or it will be a case of scouring eBay and breakers for cables and hoses off other bikes that may fit....... caveman Posted February 24, 2016 Posted February 24, 2016 Like the bike I swapped the bars on a couple of bikes previously and got the parts here http://www.vehicle-wiring-products.eu/ for extending the cables, they even had the multi-connectors that I needed. Quote
