16mm Chain

Hello lovely people,

My first bike was chained up but stolen, so for my second bike I want to up the security level. I am looking for a 16mm chain, padlock and ground anchor combo. All the research that I've done says the pragmasis and almax chains are the best, but they're also fairly expensive (admittedly less than getting a new bike every month, but still!) so I am hoping the collective bank of knowledge out there will be able to point me in the direction of the cheapest place to get one? Or another equally good make that I am yet to discover?

16mm 2m Pragmasis chain only is £119. You can find unbranded chain for say £20 less. No gurantee there the chain may be from cheese.

Make sure you buy anti-pinch pin it will help you to have shorter chain means less weight:

To secure it better add layers of protection I mean loud alarm too. Nothing scares more pikey than loud alarm.

I have the Almax chain, Pragmasis ground anchor and Squires lock. I rest easy at night. I decided to buy the best first time around thinking hopefully I'll never have to buy again. Ground anchor took about 5 mins to install and 1hr to fully "set".
