Foxy Stoat seeks Pig Posted June 5, 2016 Posted June 5, 2016 My grips are shoddy and ripped at ends so I want to replace them. I will cut the old ones off but what is the best way make the new ones 'stick'? I have noticed you can buy proper grip glue or is there anything else that will also do the job? Thanks. Quote
Stu Posted June 5, 2016 Posted June 5, 2016 if the grips are a good fit then hairspray works well it lubes the bar to allow it to slide on then once dry it makes them stick Quote
Foxy Stoat seeks Pig Posted June 5, 2016 Author Posted June 5, 2016 Thanks. Hairspray eh, haven't bought any of that since the 80's. Will see what Tesco has tomorrow. Quote
Guest Posted June 7, 2016 Posted June 7, 2016 If you're gonna fit some new grips why not treat yourself and get some heated ones? That's my new mod/job. Quote

Ditto. It's a nice thing to have and be able to turn on when your hands start to feel the chill.Wire it so it's not running straight off the battery Quote
