The Bike Dork Posted June 19, 2016 Posted June 19, 2016 Anyone know of a helmet camera you can connect to your intercom system to record sound from your helmet? Can't seem to find one... Quote

Rocky_1993 Posted September 10, 2018 Posted September 10, 2018 I was looking for an answer to a similar question and accidentally stumbled upon this topic. There is outdated information. Does anyone know which camera is suitable for mounting on a helmet in 2018? Quote

It's a bit thicker to accommodate the camera lens, but it only sits about 2cm proud of the helmet. It mounts in the usual place, on the lower left had side of the helmet about level with your ears. Plenty of pictures available online. The other cameras are not really designed to be used with a helmet (unlike the Sena) and, to be quite honest, look bloody stupid, are dangerous in the event of an off because of the amount that they protrude and will have an adverse effect (noise and drag) on the aerodynamics of your lid. Unless, of course, you are really into looking like Marvin the Martian.Cost is about the same, and with the Sena you get all the comms included as well. Quote
