V1ncevrs Posted September 3, 2016 Posted September 3, 2016 Hi guys,I'm planning a road trip down through France and entering Switzerland through Geneva and stop for the night.Any roads you guys ridden around Geneva area worth recommending? My plan is to leave Geneva and head to Turin via Lausanne or Mont Blanc and then from Turin down into Monaco so any good road suggestions around those routes would be appreciated and also any points of interest and accommodation overnight would be great. Thanks in advanceVince Quote

Gerontious Posted November 11, 2017 Posted November 11, 2017 Ideally... get a sat nav. download the full Route Des Grande Alpes to the sat nav.... work out a nice route to its start on the south shore of Lake Geneva.. or wherever you prefer to join it. and then follow it to the Mediterranean coast and from its southern end that leaves you just 6 miles or so from the centre of Monaco.plenty of info online about this route and whats involved... write ups and video clips on Youtube too. http://tinyurl.com/y88ve2ogbest to go as late in the summer as possible.. certainly no earlier than June.. as some of the highest roads are likely to be snow bound.
