Mystery top box mounting plate

I've just picked up a new (to me) bike which has a top box mounting plate on it.

The layout of the plate is like the Givi Monokey plate (two mushrooms to the front of the bike and a central catch towards the rear of the bike) - but it seems to be smaller than the Givi plate. The mushrooms are about 7 inches apart and the distance from the central catch to the line between the mushrooms is about 6.75 inches.

According to Google the equivalent measurements for Monokey are 9 inches and 8.5 inches.

Anybody got any idea what I've got?

Could be the mono lock plate.

I don't think so - the monolock template is a different design - different at the front - 2 bars that the box hooks under. What I've got is like a slightly scaled down version of the Monokey

is it a Givi plate? could it be a kapppa or something older?

Right. I'm a plonker! I have Kappa side case and a Givi top box.

Givi is 9" centres and 8.5" to lock.

kappa side cases are 8" centres and 7.5" to lock.

Thought the Kappa and Givi were interchangeable though.

Thanks for all the responses so far. The plate has no branding (that I can see) and is probably a few years old (the bike is from 2003)
