Hello everyone,

Recently while clearing out the old dusty obyss that is my shoe closet. I found this helmet. I've searched and searched and searched for any traces of it on the internet. I'm unsure of the quality of the brand or the helmet. The only traces on the internet of this helmet I could find is this: http://produto.mercadolivre.com.br/MLB-746021620-capacete-vemar-monster-tamanho-m-57-_JM" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; Some guys in Brazil selling one... I understand the helmet is most likely very old and I wouldn't try to use it as it is most likely too old to be safe. Can anyone find any other traces to this helmet?

Thank you.

I would guess that its a specific design for some team.. that is, or was sponsored by Monster Energy or one of its sub brands, that places it as sometime after 2002.

the logo on the side OCD they are a french design company that produce artwork for many helmet manufacturers and presumably sponsors. You might be able to get a quick response from them. http://www.ocd.tm.fr/contact.asp?langage=en" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

The design may still be in use even if the helmet has been superseded. it could easily be 10years old or more.. and long gone.

Can't find the specific model info but they did make an OCD model so my guess that it is one of their designs for that model much like you get the varying designs of shark Speed-r for example.

Italian company, name comes from where they are in the country. Seems in early 2000s they were making some decent helmets judging by reviews I found.

They list James White of the British Superstock as a rider using their helmets.

My Parents actually have a pair of Vemar Helmets. As above, they are from the early 2000's. I wouldn't say a 'high value' brand, but have been OK helmets. Alyjough the graphic is different on their helmets, the overall shape and look of the helmet is the same...
