Lumor_uk Posted October 3, 2016 Posted October 3, 2016 What is the internal diameter of the fuel lines please? Looked everywhere, conflicting reports mostly in imperial too which doesn't help. Quote
eastanglianbiker Posted October 3, 2016 Posted October 3, 2016 not totally sure but i would of thought 6mm or 8mm Quote
Grumpy Old Git Posted October 4, 2016 Posted October 4, 2016 Early Bandits (600 and 1200) have 6mm internal diameter lines. However, you are better off buying pre-made lines (with the end fittings) rather than building your own (the crimp has to be VERY good). Quote

Glorian Posted October 5, 2016 Posted October 5, 2016 Found the fuel line on mine kept coming off even though had a snug fit. Went out and bought a new line which JUST fit on and put some jubilee clips on either end just to stop it popping off. Had one instance of it coming off overnight and dumping a FULL tank of petrol over the engine. Fun. Quote

Lumor_uk Posted October 5, 2016 Author Posted October 5, 2016 I can order lengths of pipe from Suzuki rather than the expensive original cut to fit/shape pipes? Quote
eastanglianbiker Posted October 7, 2016 Posted October 7, 2016 i just replaced the fuel line on the harley i went to local supplier and got hose with black braid over it all the numbers are correct for fuel and fuel injection so it will withstand pressure and for the length i wanted he just cut off what i needed and let me have it for free as its not very long and looks nicer than plain black rubber hose...............i found this firm in peterborough http://www.desihose.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; Quote
